As we enter September in Naples, Florida we are also getting into a pre-fall pattern. The bait fish (pilchards) have shown up so early! It’s so nice to just stop anywhere and black the wells out for the days fishing!
So after the live wells are thriving. You can just take them about anywhere and find fish. The inshore wrecks have been providing lots of Snook, Goliath grouper and Spanish mackerel. The cobia, kingfish and Tripletail should show up very shortly! The back country remains as solid as could be. Large snook are just about everywhere with lots of small males mixed in. Even some Trout and massive schools of Jack’s to fill the gaps. The redfish are also starting to fill-in everywhere. The beach, the bushes, any docks and rocks will hold these fish through the next few months! September can yield some amazing fishing. Ironically it’s one of our slowest months of the year. So if you would like to enjoy some time on the water with nobody around and amazing fishing please reach out to anyone of our captains! Thank you. The Bedell Captain’s.
