Well, we are pretty much wrapping up Summer down here in Naples, Florida. It’s been an incredible year of great fishing huge goals accomplished for the on a mission team. We recently just cracked 100 permit for the year which has been one of our goals for many years and we did it with our great friend Clay Guida.
Some hints of summer are still holding on, and some traces of fall are starting to show as well. With the fall comes, our new Pilchard hatch and beaches should be loaded with pearls all the way to Christmas. We really love this time of the year. The cobia fishing should turn on very soon, and some Tarpon are already starting to trickle in.
We are still finding a few permit here in there with the water temps reaching nearly 100 these last few weeks. A lot of the fish have left our area. On the other side of that we have had a few weeks of northeast wind and some rain and temperatures are drastically coming down.
We have been concentrating on a lot of the nearshore wrecks with the Northeast when it’s been kind of hard to break away too much further out. These racks are stacked with giant Snook and all the Jewfish you wanna wrestle with.
We have some availability in our calendars this time of the year which is really nice because we can cherry pick your best day. Instead of it being forced on one where we were completely booked.
