With the unstable weather we’ve had the last week, the backcountry in the skiff for the win! Crazy South winds have made the offshore fishing impossible. That’s when we pull out plan B! Lots of places to hind in the back. As you can see, lots of healthy Snook, Redfish, Tarpon and all the Sharks you like to pull on! Lots of big Jack’s and Snappers to fill the gaps!
Our calendars are still crazy full, but we definitely have openings for smaller parties. Please reach out to any of our captains for bookings! Thank you. Tight Lines! The Bedell Captains! This time of the year the OAM team is going hard. Lots of people & fish in Naples, Fl. The fishing in our area has been next to none. The gamefish are all over the place. Big Snook, school’s of Redfish in every cove. The Tarpon are starting to show on the beach, and it seems the Jack’s are looming everywhere!
We have been doing a lot of trips on our skiff. Well both boats are booked, but it seems like the skinny stuff has been paying off great too. Smaller parties of 1-2 is perfect for the skiff to tuck away from traffic and fish the creeks. We probably have less then 10 days left open this month. So please don’t hesitate to book that trip of a lifetime. Please call any of are captains to knock that bucket fish off the list. Looking forward to hearing from you! Tight lines! thank you, the Bedell Captains. This years Easters' break was nothing short of spectacular! The big Snook are everywhere and chewing. With the water staying on the mid 70s all the game fish are here and very happy. These fish are eating everything in sight. From pilchards to cut bait, also artificial’s and flies. This fishing will only get better until the spawn in May! Also, the Tarpon have been moving thru the area as well. We put a few fish in the air last week in the 150 class. A few shots at some beach fish and lots of fish heading north, more on the way.
The offshore fish has been amazing when you can make it out there. Crazy March winds have carried into April. Even had a Easter cold front that pushed things back to January for a few days. Hopefully winds lay down for April. Lots of Permit trips on the way! This season has been off to a crazy busy start. Seems all this pent up demand for fishing charters has gone through the roof. We get 15-20 calls and emails, everyday for openings tomorrow. Please, please don’t wait. These days available are in high demand, and won’t last long. If you’ve been in search for that “bucket list fish” nows the time to check that off!! Good luck out there. Stay safe! Hope to see you on the water. The Bedell Captains |
