Late March fishing report for Naples Florida. We were blasted with a late season cold front this week. Water dropped almost 10° overnight. Obviously the offshore fishery has been shut down because of winds and weather. It didn’t seem to bother the redfish too bad. It was extremely hard for us to get bait this week, we switch back to shrimp and did very well. Got lots of nice redfish on both of our day trips. Even got some beautiful sheephead for dinner.
Hopefully that was the last cold front of the season. As soon as these winds calm down and we are able to get where we need to go we expect fishing to be back on schedule offshore. Our calendars are extremely full. We do have a few spots here and there to fill. If you would like to try to get one of these charters for your family please book accordingly! Thank you, the Bedell Captains
