Wrapping up the last week of fishing in Naples, Florida for the month of February.
This month has felt more like June then February. Crazy hot air temperatures an even warmer water temperatures. It’s almost time for another cold front! Our fishing still remains on fire and all of the local gamefish are cooperating. Giant schools of Permit are all over the place. Most wrecks hold all sizes. From 10-20s seems to be the norm last few days. We have gotten some fish in 30 pounds range and also lost several more. The cobia fishing still remains incredible. We had wolf packs all around the boat today and yesterday and even this ginormous 50 pound came over the gunnel this week. The back country is starting to heat up as well. Perry’s boat has been running nonstop. Lots of inshore species are eating pilchards and the water is warming up nicely. This is the time I reach out and start saying that if you want to get some good dates with us, you need to book accordingly. Chunks are just being taken out of our calendar every day in a few more weeks we’re not gonna have any more room for the month of March. Please reach out to any of our captains to handle any of your charter services. Thank you the Bedell Captains.
