The redfish have been everywhere! Lots of medium size Snook jacks and snapper to fill in the gap's. We have seen some really big or Snook eating freebies around us just haven't been able to get one to the boat the last few weeks! Bait has been everywhere it's been one and done, beautiful size pilchards to stir up any shoreline we go to! The red tide has completely diminished, the water is clean it has been beautiful fall fishing!

The Southwest Florida region is back to normal. With the passing of tropical storm Gordon last week has washed all of the remnants of red tide out. Pre-fall is in full swing, redfish have showed up in huge numbers. Also more big snook then I can ever recall seeing, we haven't had luck getting any to the boat but it's very hard to keep those big girls out of the trees. Lots of other fish around to keep you busy big Jack's mangrove snapper's,even a few Tarpon still around. The fishing is only going to get better in our region as more migratory species start showing up as water temperatures cool. This is the perfect time of the year to book a trip and put some numbers on the board, 30 to 40 redfish charters are not uncommon this time of year.
Hope to hear from you soon, thank you, Capt Wes. |
