Thank you Capt. Wes
This past week produced lots of good dinners for my clients. We were able to sneak out one day last week and do some great tripletail fishing, other than that we've been dealing with low temperatures and wind's in the 20 to 30 mile an hour range. So to get away from all that we've been hiding back in the creeks and catching lots of black drum and sheephead. I have a few openings left in my calendar this week so please give us a call.
Thank you Capt. Wes

This week the family fun fishing has been plentiful. Nothing really huge coming over the rail, but lots of good tasting fish for the whole family. We are blessed with another beautiful week of weather, and my calendar is filling up fast, there's been some more triple tail around and the Bonita and the king fish have seem to have shown back up. Please call or email ahead of time to get yourself the best available days.
Thank you, Captain Wes We struck triple tail gold last week between the cold fronts. Finally got some calm seas and fair weather so we were able to run some traps and find some beautiful fish for my clients. If you can get lucky enough to time your trips between these massive fronts that we have had fishing has been really really good.
Capt. Wes Bedell With the water temps dipping into the middle 50s in Naples, our options get pretty limited. It went from 72° to 56° literally almost overnight, which puts most fish in shock. It's nice to know that the inshore reef areas hold some quality table fair. The sheephead bite has been great this week along with a variety of snappers, pompano and trout.
Capt. Wes Bedell Well full blown winter is upon us here in SW Florida. With the abundance of back to back cold fronts, and 15-20 knt. winds, fishing has become where is a good place to hind. The creeks have been paying off nicely. Lots of trout, pompano, sheephead, black drum and a variety of snappers. All of those species are great table fair, which makes this weather doable.
Come fishing, on a mission! Capt. Wes Bedell |
