As we progress more into winter our fishery will continue to change and we switch our gears accordingly. We change from more sport fishing to grocery shopping for dinner. It's not uncommon to go home with a big bag of fish from only a half day. Shrimp is beginning to pay off more and more and this will be the case all winter long with the cool water temps. The best part about shrimp is that everything caught off of it tastes delicious. Black Drum, Triple Tail, Sheepshead, Trout, Snapper, and Redfish have been the norm with some occasional Snook still in the mix as well. The winter time bite is off to a great start!
